Before issuing the license file, the SKY MobileMedia Orders Department requires the following information:

  1. Computer/Hostname
  2. Ethernet Address (different from IP address)
  3. Disc Volume Serial Number
  4. Original Purchase Order Number
  5. For an upgrade, include the previous license details:
    1. NetHASP Number
    2. RapidPLUS Type
    3. Number of Users

    FLEXlm has a tool for easily acquiring items 1-4 in the list.
    For item 5: Your license number can be found in the Help\About Rapid box if you are using a physical plug. If you are using the FLEXlm licensing, open the \\Rapidxx\FLEXlm\license.dat file with a Text Editor and see the license number written as a comment with the "#" sign in the first row.
    Before using the license, however, we suggest that you read the short RapidPLUS Installation Guide

FLEXlm tool for acquiring system info
Instructions for using the tool:
  1. Run the acquiring tool.
    If the machine is a server, run the tool on the server machine.
    Note: No need to install RapidPLUS on the server, only on the clients machine.
  2. Select the 2nd tab from left: "System Settings"
  3. Press the button "Save the HOSTID info to a file" and save the file as text file (*.txt)
  4. Send the *.txt file you saved by e-mail to to the Orders Department
